Avram Nemetz, MD - Medical Director

Dr. Nemetz has been with Affiliated Physicians since 1991. He was born in New York, grew up in Queens, graduated from Cornell University in 1983, and earned his M.D. degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1987. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Bronx Municipal Hospital Center (now Jacobi Medical Center), and was an Emergency Physician at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan before arriving at Affiliated Physicians. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Richard Hernandez, MD

Dr. Hernandez joined the clinical staff at Affiliated Physicians on May 2002. He attended New York University and earned a B.A. degree in 1984. He received his Medical Doctorate degree from UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School in 1988. Dr. Hernandez completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan in 1991. He is board certified in Internal medicine.

Dr. Hernandez worked as an Emergency Room physician at Lenox Hill Hospital from 1991 until 2002. While at Lenox Hill Hospital Dr. Hernandez held several teaching appointments and he was involved in the training of medical students and multi specialty residents and fellows. He was an Associate Clinical Professor at New York Medical College and at New York University Medical School.

Scott Kerstetter, D.O.

Dr. Kerstetter is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an allopathic family practice residency at York Hospital in his hometown of York, PA. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He has worked as a staff physician at Affiliated Physicians since 1998 and is a certified Medical Review Officer.

Ann Marie Finegan, MD, FACR

Dr. Ann Marie Finegan is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York.  She is a fellowship trained Rheumatologist (University of Massachusetts Medical Center), Board Certified Internist (Bay State Medical Center), and Certified Medical Review Officer (since 1996) with special interest in Repetitive Trauma Disorders and Ergonomics.  She has over 19 years of clinical experience in Occupational Medicine with expertise in Disability Determination, Urine Toxicology, and Fitness for Duty and FMLA assessments.  Dr. Finegan has had significant experience as an Expert Witness in legal proceedings as well as company hearings.  She has lectured physician audiences and lay groups on a variety of clinical and wellness topics.  Dr. Finegan has been employed as a Staff Physician at Affiliated Physicians since 2004.
